The annual summit convened heads of state, ministers and more than 6,000 leaders across worldwide public and private sectors to explore solutions to today’s most pressing global challenges. During the event, SW representatives contributed to several high-level dialogues, including the New Silk Road Forum, highlighting the growing role of Chinese enterprises in global governance and cross-border collaborations.
At the New Silk Road Forum, SW business partners and leading Chinese entrepreneurs shared Chinese perspectives on international trade, industrial transformation and technological innovation. Senior representatives from governments and business communities across the Middle East and Central Asia joined the discussion, reflecting deepening co-operation between China and the international community in advancing sustainable growth, technological progress and global economic integration.
SW also facilitated participation in the Future of Investments Roundtable, where prominent Chinese investors exchanged views with 33 counterparts from 15 countries on emerging investment trends and global capital flows. The dialogue highlighted the expanding influence of Chinese enterprises in shaping the global investment landscape.
Another key event during the summit was the Family Businesses Roundtable, which brought together family enterprise leaders, family office executives, policymakers and innovators to examine evolving approaches to governance, succession, investment strategy and philanthropy. The discussions reinforced the vital role of family businesses in fostering long-term value creation and global economic resilience.
Throughout the summit, Dr. Eric Li, Honorary Chairman of SW Hong Kong, participated in media interviews with leading international coverage, sharing perspectives on global investment dynamics and the future of accounting and corporate governance.
SW also hosted a private dinner reception for Chinese delegates, fostering deeper dialogue and collaboration. Senior representatives from the World Governments Summit organisation and the UAE government attended, reflecting the strong partnership between SW and the WGS organisation.
